Peaceful retreat at Lake Como

Tranquility was the raison d'etre when creating this peaceful retreat on the shores of Lake Como. To create a sense of complete calm, the designers chose a palette of comfortable neutral colors - nothing that would seem too distracting or bright - and an orderly layout of the space that does not disturb the clean lines of the architecture.

The walls of Patina Living KK 106 give spaces a subtly delabrè look. In Cementoresina KK 109, the tonal floor covers horizontal surfaces and stairs, creating an elegant contrast with materials such as amber wood.

The large windows overlook the mountains, and the exterior walls are decorated with Outdoor Plaster decoration in the same color as the interior.

The central corridor allows an unobstructed view of the green hills surrounding Lake Como from the core of the house. The central wall's light turquoise Decor Paint KK 48 takes on the pale green hues of the lake and the trees, creating a subtle dialogue between the interior and exterior areas.

Natural materials such as stone, marble and wood create a subtle contrast with the surfaces: Cementoresina continuous floor and Wallpaper coverings, both in the unexpected shade of KK 144 purple. The frugal decoration and unorganized spaces allow the warm qualities of the materials to speak - visually connecting them with the minimal facade of the structure, which is completely covered with Outdoor Plaster resin.
